Recycling Program
All residents and businesses are welcome and encouraged to participate, pick-up days vary by waste hauler. When contracting hauler inquire as to when collection days occur.
The recycle bin can be purchased at the Village Utility Office for a onetime non-refundable fee of $9.00.
Typical recycled items:
- Plastics (must have the #1 or #2 on bottom)
- Metal (aluminum, tin or bimetals)
- Paper (newspaper, junk mail, and chip board like cereal boxes)

You may "trim" trees and bushes year round and put the limbs in the front of your house by the curb for the Village to pick up. However, YOU MUST CALL THE VILLAGE OFFICE FOR A WORK ORDER at (217)-483-2451.
